The President of the United States was hospitalized with a deadly illness, and the best doctors on Earth gave him monoclonal antibody therapy because they knew it was the best chance to help him.
And boy did it. He went from being in a rapidly worsening state to leaving the hospital very quickly. Many others have experienced similarly impressive turn-arounds with that treatment.

i don’t have much trust in the who, but was never convinced from the basic gilead pharma paper (invitro) that remdesivir could work on covid19 as an off label treatment. to me it was much more likely that they were trying for a fast buck on a failed drug with their claim. hcq action against sars covid2 was much more convincing at the invitro research level.
stanford had an initial study that claimed some small effect against covid19 but heard nothing after that. i think yale was doing a study too, but heard nothing subsequent to that either. so crickets on remdesivir.
the fact that in their own paper they play directly with serious genetic modification in the cell was enough to convince me to stay away from it.
so not a surprise to me.
Poor Trump. If only he would have known he was taking non-WHO approved medication. Why didn’t someone tell him only vaccines can save us? For that matter, why didn’t someone warn me not to take Ivermectin?

I’ve known two people who were in the hospital with COVID pneumonia and Remdesvar basically healed them in 2 or 3 days.
No evidence it works except the testimonials FROM PATIENTS WHO ARE ALIVE BECAUSE OF RENDESIVIR.
