I had one FReeper who told me about getting ivermectin at a farm supply place. Now that’s Darwin Award territory.

That’s your opinion. I have the horse paste Ivermectin and gave some to a friend who lost their sense of taste and smell after a bout of the virus. They took two doses, with zinc therapy, for 48 hours and are now fine. If I start running a temp for over 24 hours I won’t hesitate to take Ivermectin horse paste in lieu of an ER visit and possible intubation. You do you.
I have read all medical supplies created for animals in the US must pass human prep and production methods but the handling and distribution is much less stringent. While such things are safe for humans they don’t meet final use, human medical standards.
Handling and distribution doesn’t affect the packaged product contents unless it’s tampered with, just like any other item you buy. Just check that container integrity is intact.
