Old movies and foreign films are on the rise in popularity. As are songs from the Seventies and Eighties. Old movies people really had to act not do a hundred takes and fix it in a computer edit. Singers had to actually sing. Today even live music is run through digital enhancements, don't even really have to be able to sing. That is not to say there are really beautiful voices out there. Just hard to tell if it's real or if it is “Memorex.”

I will not watch any movie where the actual characters are changed from the original comic book character to pander to woke BS. Making Superman Black will fail. Black Panther was a black man in the comics, so I had no issues with that. There were numerous comic hero's who were black from their inception. Luke Gage, Cyborg and Blade to name a few. Superman, Iron Man, Fantastic Four were white, leave it be, Go woke go broke.

Just call it the Black League, and have black actors as Batman, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and Wonder Woman. All the bad guys and aliens need to be whites or Asians.

Warner Brothers systematically ruined DC when they bought it in the early '70s, not understanding comic books.

Warner should get some Silver Age style DC writers (the last generation before Warner) for plot ideas and story boards.

If you want to do a "black Superman" story, you can have a parallel universe (e.g. Earth 22) and even have a story with the Supermen of various Earths fighting with each other or cooperating against a common menace. You can have Red Kryptonite make Superman black for 48 hours (problematic). You can have Mr. Mxyzptlk make him black as well (also problematic).

You might have a black Kryptonian from Vathlo Island released from the Phantom (or Survival) Zone. Mend his ways if evil, and take on the identity of Superman.

There are THOUSANDS Of Suprman comic books from the early '70s and earlier. These should be mined for story ideas. Comic book movies from comic book people. That's what Marvel got right, and DC didn't (except some of the Batman movies, kinda).
