Agreed. I was preparing to post the song but you, with your agile mind were way ahead of me. As always.
I was raised a ‘Local Theater Kid.’ Mom did costuming and Dad built sets. I helped both, but worked Stage Crew, Usher. Basic Go-fer - whatever was needed and age appropriate as I grew up.
Musicals are my all-time favorite. My fave of faves, when there are SO many to choose from?
‘Oklahoma’ and ‘1776.’ ‘Momma Look Sharp’ gets me right in the FEELS every time and they omitted that from the movie! ‘How Dare You!’ LOL!
‘If I Loved You’ from ‘Carousel’ is also a favorite tune. Nobody did live theater better than Shirley Jones. Gordon MacRae can have a LITTLE credit, too. ;)

Current musicals? I wouldn’t go if I had free tickets! It’s as bad as Hollywood with all the PC preaching and cr@p. Just tell an honest story, write some memorable tunes and there should be lots of dancing. ;)
