Your comment does not contribute to clarity. VAERS is ‘vaccine adverse event report’. Adverse events are terms of reports following direct exposure to vaccination and they are defined by symptoms. So here they are not referring to exposure to Covid, which they would describe differently. Exposure of trial partipants to Covid-19 would naturally be part of the study and included in the documentation.
This is ‘occupational’ effecting people not vaccinated but having the adverse events normally recorded by trial participants.
