Yes, and speaking of Irish tunes to be sung, I got a 1st place the next year (1982) in a different contest with “Bendemeer’s Stream.”

“Danny Boy” on St. Patty’s Day. Not a song for rusty baritones like me. Just the other day I learned that the song was written by a man who lost his son Daniel in WWI.
