Many Việts eat the ingredients and leave the broth. Most of the flavor is in the broth and I finish with an empty bowl.
I like Vietnamese cooking generally.

Me, too, love it! Have NEVER had a bad dish at a Vietnamese restaurant. Not too adventurous with my food though, so I stick to the restaurant guides. Very mouth-watering food, yum!
I read an article 20 years ago about the most popular street restaurant in Hanoi (at least I think it was Hanoi). Have always wanted to go. Can't remember its name now.
All anyone has to do is Google 'most famous restaurants in Vietnam' to see lots and lots of pics of some pretty appetizing food.
