Amazing that someone with autoimmune disorder would take an immunization shot. How sad.
His thought was that the risk to her from covid was greater than the risk from the vaccine.
We opted for the J&J vaccine with the thought that it was the least risky of the three. She got it over 2 months ago - no issues.
My wife and I also got the J&J just over 2 weeks ago with no issues.
I have hashimotos (diagnosed over 25 years ago and being treated) and took the vaccine and I did not get lesions or anything like that. I got the expected reactions, slight chills and a headache. I realize there’s a lot of anti vaccine out there. Am I sorry I took it? Not yet but time will tell. Will report back in the future.
That’s what I was thinking. I have psoriasis and my wife has lupus so we were told taking that vaccine would be a very bad idea. Not just having the disorder but the meds we are taking for the disorder. Can have every bad side effects..
I have, I won’t. And our illustrious gov in NevaDUH will still classify me as a hater because, no vaccine for me.
Depends. If the risk of getting COVID is higher than the risk of the shot, then you can blame them.
Why is it amazing?
In NYS, primary care providers haven’t been allowed to offer vaccinations.
The only people who can don’t know the people they’re sticking from Adam’s housecat.
This is a cluster.
Wow. Amazing that a health care provider would give them one.

Was just thinking the same.
I wonder if her doc gave her the all clear to take it.
What is sad is the ignorance on this forum.
Do you have any idea how many people have auto immune diseases? I personally have three.
And hello? I got both of my moderna vaccines from a pharmacist, in Feb.
