UK police tried to shutdown a party in the park because of "Covid". It did not go well.

Not to pick nits, but isn’t “shutdown” a noun? Where as “to shut down” is a verb phrase? Maybe that’s why the plan backfired.

The problem is, we have been too conditioned to listen to authority to fight back when the authority is clearly in the wrong.

Those changes have occurred in a short historical time frame of maybe 4-5 decades with the following country killing actions.
They opened their borders to POC’s and different religions, housed them, fed them and gave them free medical care.
During those social changes, they basically disarmed their police and demolished their once great intel services at home and abroad.
