And no, I work for the government. LOL We call the people in our system ‘members’. They’re not all ‘employees’ of the same governmental entity so ‘employees’ isn’t exactly accurate.

I am well. Just needed a break from politics. Mind now cleared and back to routine with a twist.
I will be teaching art at a local Christian School. They’ve been asking me for awhile and now I’m ready to do it.
Just 2 days a week. I’ll need prayer for patience with the munchkins, but hope to give them appreciation for art and Jesus.

My understanding is employers paid ‘hazard pay’ to those workers who still had to deal with the public; they didn’t have the option of working from home as I do. Think grocery stores, etc., as mentioned in the article. It had nothing to do with missing a paycheck.
Not saying this is the best use of the money, but I know some private employers provided ‘hazard pay’ to their employees. If San Diego is paying it only to the ones that still had to deal with the public face-to-face, I wouldn’t have an issue with it. However, if my employer was offering it, I wouldn’t expect a penny.

When I go to Fankspeech.com a big screen of live video comes up. It defaults to “sound off”.
When I touch it the megaphone comes up from bottom with line through it. Just click it and line disappears and sound comes on.
