43 AD.
I wish people would stop trying to change our dating system to one which denies the existence of Christ. It’s stupid.

Isn’t putting a representation of a ‘woman of color’ as defined by her anatomical differences RACIST?...asking for a friend...

There are plenty of blackguards in British history.Since I'm not sure how you meant this statement, I'll just say that blackguard is defined as a man who behaves in a dishonorable or contemptible way. I, of course, literally meant that the black peoples of sub-Saharan Africa had virtually nothing to do with British history. "British" in this instance to include England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

“But then in coins, as in life, it’s always about the content of the character.”
In the 21st century, character no longer matters. It’s back to the color of the skin.

Such a lie.
The truth still matters.

Thanks a fool in paradise. Britannia was at most Romans' feminization of the vanquished. This is really about getting Queen E2 and her eventual jughead successors off British currency.

This proves that liberals are all about optics and not problem solving.
Nobody cares what’s ON the coin. All anybody cares about is what’s IN the coin..............

Ask the CE people what made it “contemporary”? Why was that Year Zero?

The two sides of THAT coin will not be Obverse and Reverse, or Heads and Tails. The two sides of the coin will be Ze and Zhe.

That's a "white black", complete with culturally appropriated Caucasian hair.
There are beautiful African women. I don't know why the brits had to white her up. Maybe they're racists.

I can’t find that on the Royal Mint’s page. I didn’t see anything at first glance that was a “1 kilo” coin.

You’re off a bit. 1 kilogram of gold is a little bit more than 32 troy ounces. Current spot gold is around $1730. For just the gold melt value and not the wonderful artistic value the 1 kilo coin is around $55 thousand.

If anybody has that one kilo coin and doesn’t want it — I’ll be happy to take it.
