It’s just the flu, bro.
So we are in year 2 of the Flubros thread and we are also in year two of two weeks to flatten the curve. The plan was to keep the thread going daily at least until year two or when Texas was free. Texas is mostly free - the exception is the schools and some churches. Also some businesses still require them (Uber). The work is not done to have total freedom but it is getting there - those who want to be seen as protecting the children will be the hardest to to get to relent. I can’t guarantee that we will continue to have a daily thread but I like routine in my life so there is an excellent chance that it will happen on most days.
Another reason to keep the thread going daily is that there is a small group of Freepers who either believe in the government tyranny or they stoke such levels of fear that they inspire those who would create this tyranny. I think those Freepers must frequently be reminded that it’s just the flu.

It isn’t just the flu after all. It is the means to oppress and to crush. It succeeded to expose those who are controlled by fear and the black hearted tyrants who would lord over them.

I’m up here in Tyler and I still see a lot of sheep wearing their masks in their cars. All appear to go by the name of Karen. Most people are maskless at Walmart, the grocery stores, and the like. Even the elderly who probably have had the shot.

I read this thread every day. Thanks. It seems that most of the corporate places outside of HEB are still requiring masks in my part of Texas. I am happy to see the restaurant and bar parking lots full again.
