Note that those urban Calif types did not move to rural areas of new states, but to the urban areas, exacerbating the city control of the rest of those states.

Yep, most of those California democrats and RINOs that corruptrd WA, OR, NV, CO, and AZ moved to the cities, not the rural areas.
Oregon saw what was happening, posting stickers with “No Californians” on house for sale signs.
