I don’t understand all the ins and outs of this tax situation, but if they’re bona fide grifters, imagine how humiliated Queen Elizabeth must be. She seems like a decent and honorable person.

IIRC, a foreigner who earns money in the USA owes taxes on their earnings. We DO have a tax treaty with the UK so he might get a tax credit for any taxes he paid there. And CALIFORNIA is pretty aggressive on taxes. Community property state too, so 1/2 of any current money Harry makes is, for tax purposes, earned by Megan. That’s an oversimplification but is roughly true.
