All you have to do is install an audio plug-in called VB-Audio from the product’s webpage, then make sure you have the right audio devices selected, and then open Zoom as normal. From there, you can play a collection of sound effects in Zoom designed to irritate or annoy your coworkers, ostensibly to the point where your colleagues will ask you to leave the video call.
Some of the sound effects are a bit more straightforward than others. Clips of a crying baby and active construction seem like the most sure-fire way to get out of a video meeting, while the Bad Connection sound quite realistically mimics the choppy audio people might hear if you have weak internet.
But other effects, like a man weeping or the sound of urination, might raise more questions from your coworkers...

This explains what happened with Brian Stelter. He got the X-rated sound kit.
Incoherent babbling in the background....then say....
“It is President Biden on another line....about the thing....gotta go....
My goodness, we live in a magical farty digital world...
“Who is playing ‘It’s a Small World’ in the background? PLEASE put it on mute!”
Uh huh. Not a good plan if you want to remain employed !
He was in the bathroom with audio & video on.
He gave lots of sound effects with the phone maybe laying on the sink.
After he flushed, he looked at his phone an saw he had the two options on...and turned them off.
Just be honest. Its so hard for people just to be honest.
So you get fired. Maybe if you dont want to be on a call for work, maybe you shouldnt be in that job.
Nope, people just lie. And they expect others to go along with it.
This is intriguing. I like Zoom as a phone solution, but video calls are the pits. In my organization, the only people who want video are the CEO and those kissing the backside of the CEO. No video, and it is all okay. It’s just a phone call with screen sharing. I have a piece of tape over the camera just in case.
The “Blazing Saddles” camp fire scene sound effects surely would not offend anyone on Zoom, would it?
How about the sound of wanking, as in Jeffery Toobin? That would creep anyone out.
Today’s Dilbert featured ending credits to get people to get off a Zoom call .
Like that Leslie Nielsen bit in that Naked Gun movie, when he went in the restroom at a function and peed on his shoes with his lapel mic still on........
I used the “ghost frequency” (18.98 hz) whenever we did our initial “meeting from home” when this mess started. After a month, they cancelled the meetings. Whether it worked or not, I like to think that it did and this was my contribution to the advancement of the human race through meeting-less progress. ;)
My goodness, we live in a magical farty digital world...
Full of rudeness and intrusive people.
Just say, “i have to go now, good bye” and turn it off. Barring that, tape over the camera, volume off, mic off.
Just effing NO.

Nope. As long as WFH is the mandatory option (with 8 hours of masking in the office being the other), environmental sounds of your house - your private space - not the company must be tolerated.
As are guns, pictures of Trump, spouses, housemates, girlfriends, boyfriends, crying kids, etc.
For most, the kitchen table is the office.
Let me guess, you either have your own sound-isolated home office or work exclusively in an office somewhere.
And for many companies, meetings are called at both fixed or random times. Should you send your family or kids away for quietness and shut off the internet (for your exclusive use) for these meetings?
Thats not what this article is talking about or wht i commented about. Stop lying about it and mischaraterizing it.
Its about people deliberately creating fake sounds/events to get out of a zoom call.
But not like the Priest in Scary Movie.
