Well there's a red flag right there. Anybody spending 20% of their income on death insurance for family members is expecting them to die and soon.

Calling the company to ask how long after purchase of the policies the kids could be killed --- I mean tragically die in an accident -- and insurance company wouldn't investigate it might be an even bigger read flag.

Not the brightest light in our immigration system. It’s like going to a bank with a wad of cash and asking them when they report it. The teller says “We are required to report $10,000 or more”. So you give $9,900, thinking you’re clear. Nope...they can report whatever they want, their choice, and you just made the decision easy for them...they’re only REQUIRED to report 10k or over.
