I didn't go as deep as you, but I got that original message about not being able to ship to my area. That was the first time I'd ever gotten that message.

This is what cancelation looks like!!

Not sure why any sane person would shop at Target.

Maybe they’ve stopped delivering to highly Republican areas?

Try living in Alaska. FWIW, this isn’t outrageous. It’s inconvenient.

It’s a highly republican area, but not sure what a random week of not shipping by USPS to the zip accomplishes. I just shrugged and thought it was a glitch or covid. And the next time I ordered something it was fine so I checked on radios again, and there wasn’t any zip restriction like there was week before.

Thanks for the tip.

We have a ACE near us, but the K-Mart is closed. They are putting a
Chick-Fil-a there.

Same here.. USPS won't deliver here, and that can be a pain if companies won't tell you which delivery they will be using.

I an able to bypass orders that won't go to P.O. Boxes by replacing the "P.O." with the name of the building I live in. The building collects our mail from the PO. So far, FedEx and UPS have delivered to the PO with no problems.

“ Target’s business model only has a very small percentage of packages shipping from warehouses- the bulk ship from physical Target stores! I think it’s pretty amazing to watch the tracking. But, yeah- if there isn’t a physical store in the area (and “the area” is pretty big- I occasionally get packages from Miami stores, which is ~3.5 hour drive), and it’s not something they have stock of in their warehouse, they don’t ship it. It’s been fantastic for their bottom line- but, I can see why it would be confusing if you haven’t realized that they tend to ship directly from stores.”

“ The warehouses ship product to the stores.
The stores ship products to customers.

Right now we are shipping out 2 UPS truckloads a day. That is a lot of boxes.”

Aha, so I'm not the only one. Weird thing is, it says this item is "not in stores", so they can't be shipping this from the store, which is all of 10 minutes away from my home.
