He gets an allowance from his Dad and money from a company that can drop him at any time. Does not change my point. Unless he lower his outgo to below his income he is no different then someone living paycheck to paycheck.

He needs to create a income stream that is stable and not depended on the whim of others if he wants to maintain his lifestyle beyond his sell by date.
