That raises some fascinating questions to my mind.
Her husband Halfwit is mentally ill (and stupid) as well. What a fracas over two boring, spoiled, untalented losers who were coddled and covered for by both their families. Result: two immature monsters who feel entitled to run roughshod over their families and everybody else.
It would behoove the Firm to set some firm rules and standards for family members who are working for the monarch. You start acting up and flouting the instructions of the boss, publicly or privately, and you will be demoted and penalized (fewer plum assignments, patronages reassigned, etc.). Keep it up, and you will be fired from the Firm permanently. The family will still have to deal with you and probably provide some private support, but you will not be representing the monarch or Great Britain.
