Failure to control is failure to control regardless if he was asleep or not.

He is no more irresponsible than the other tens of thousands of people who get into traffic accidents every year in this country. I’m sure he is grateful he is alive & that he didn’t hurt anyone else.

I believe that you are mistaken. Mr. Woods has had one documented arrest for DUI. It was in 2017. He was not drunk, he blew a o.ooo. He was under the influence of prescription pain killers & sleeping pills. He also had trace amounts of marijuana in his system.

It’s quite likely that he had taken an ambien or other strong sleep aid while on his pain killers. He has had several surgeries for back & leg problems. Ambien effects include doing all manner of things while sleeping.

The authorities specifically stated that he was not or impaired at the time of his most recent crash. He may or may not have been distracted or he simply may have fallen asleep or lost control as this is a dangerous road that sees many accidents.

When I was a multi-state Sales Representative years ago. I had a few instances were I would drive 200 or more miles & remember nothing of the trip. I know I didn’t fall asleep I just didn’t remember. That happens when you drive so much. I would put 50,000 miles a year on a car.

I had trouble at times, even pulling over to nap at rest areas. Open the window & breath deep.

I never said he was drunk. I said he was DUI at least twice before this one.

“You, obviously, have never known an addict or a drunk.”

I have close, personal knowledge of the actions and behavior of alcoholics, so your “obviously” comment is totally without merit. And you know me not at all nor whom I have known. Most of the alcoholics I have known don’t start their drinking at 6 am in the morning, primarily because they too have to sleep and aren’t even up yet.

Tiger Woods is a businessman as well as a golfer, and has met many obligations, including just the day before to fulfill contract obligations such as his giving golf “lessons” to celebrities and doing videos. He didn’t do them drunk, as his actions were being filmed and he would be canned from his contracts in a nano second if he did. Are you an alcoholic that starts drinking at 6 a.m. in the morning when you wake up? Is that where your knowledge comes from?

I believe he had one DUI in 2017.

In reality he should get a driver

I am pretty sure that I actually fell asleep but only in part. Obviously my eyes were recording and the body was keeping on but I was not connected and when I woke up I felt refreshed- like I just woke up. I have let long stretches pass without noticing them, also, and have therefore not remembered those passages.
