The abolition of the electoral college is a favorite talking point of the commies and the MSM that serves them.

That would make little to zero change in the present DIm vs GOP proportions in the House of Representatives. While some less populated areas may have an increase in their numbers of representatives, so would more populace locations.
So where as now there are about 720,000 voters for each representative/congressional district, under your formula a place like Manhattan would have 24 additional voters for each on they currently have. The house would likely continue to have the same big-city vs rural proportions it does today.
My point was more directly related to the election of the President (via the Electoral College), which is supposed to be elected to represent “the nation” in the WIDEST sense, and to me the widest sense does not mean outsized influence for the “largest population” but instead for “more of the nation” as it is distributed all across the land. Counting counties reflects that in a way that “majority of the population” never will.
Maybe, maybe not.
Even in a district nutso enough to elect an AOC, I'd have to think even she didn't get 100% of the vote.

Folks, it’s worse than this.
Guaranteed “Buyden” didn’t win a number of those 477 counties.
Just one screaming example, Maricopa County (AZ), with over 4.5 million people, absolutely did not go to the corrupt China bribed/bought “Buyden”.
As well, nearly all contested cities, and many others which were not, had very significant ballot and election fraud, paper and digital, “foreign and domestic”.
“Buyden” almost certainly did not get 60-65 million real votes, and didn’t win anywhere near 477 counties.
The GRU cyber team which wrote SMOTE-B, which was/is the underlying code for Scorecard and Smartmatic, designed it to work fractionally evenly, so to not be noticed. Once vote tallies begin, it is designed to keep candidates close, so as not to be suspected, but to calculate a larger fraction to the desired candidate. This is how it has so successfully been used around the world in elections. The problem for any such SMOTE-B derived program, is not knowing “over/under” percentage of voters. In other words, some districts will have less (or significantly less) votes than expected (Biden), while other districts may have overwhelming high volume (Trump). Smoothing it all out digitally then becomes tough to impossible.
If Trump would have simply barely beat Biden, certain IC agencies would have known, but we may not have learned, or paid so much attention to the Smartmatic election software integrated into repurposed Diebold machines, Dominion, Hart Intercivic, and ES&S voting platforms, and may not have had the political pressure applied to investigate and learn Smartmatic was used by foreign nations to play with our vote tally, or to motivate large scale “pushback” against Biden being fraudulently installed.
It was the overwhelming disparity between the high Trump vote, combined with the low Biden vote, which overwhelmed/broke the fractional code, and which resulted in many visible vote spikes for Biden, and so many votes flipped from Trump to Biden.
We really were not supposed to see this happen, so as to keep is from challenging the fraud.

And you can bet on the reality that if you check those county records going back in time you shall find that the numbers of dem voters to rep voters in those counties do Not add up.
Nor will the “massive” swing of numbers that those places reported.
Be of Spirit, those “counties are surrounded by Every pizzed off Voter that had their voice stolen.”
They do Not speak for the country.

No, I don’t have anything like that.
I have a spreadsheet for looking at the number of counties won by Trump and Biden. I only have the county votes for 2 states because I couldn’t find locations for easy downloads of the county data in most cases, so I gave up.
I have a spreadsheet that looks at when Trump was leading Georgia and another one when Trump was leading Pennsylvania, then the shenanigans that went on for Biden to win.

I sure wish we had a source of these screen captures. I’ve heard they’re from CNN but I don’t see evidence in the screens themselves.
