The “relief” agencies get paid by the head. Very lucrative.
Then they are not the ones who have to deal with the effects on a community.
Yes it is. Ask Catholic Charities. They just built a homeless shelter in my community in my city. They haven’t opened yet (were supposed to almost a year ago) citing COVID. I have told anyone who will listen that it will become a refugee resettlement facility. Nobody believed me.

Apparently all those so called “charities” put up a lot of campaign funds and this is their payoff..Catholic/Baptist/Lutheran - the name doesn’t matter. People are fooled by the names and they are nothing but a means to get federal money, put the “squatters” up in housing etc., until a county or city or state takes over the expense.. When is ANYONE in DC going to realize that the citizens are smarter than they think??? Fool me once - etc.! Is this what makes their world go ‘round? They are the smart ones and everyone is ignorant?
This is where “Improvise, Adapt, Overcome” will become SOP.
