Followers of the extremist ideology QAnon saw their hopes once again dashed Wednesday as President Donald Trump left Washington on the final day of his presidency, without any of the climactic scenes of violence and salvation that the sprawling set of conspiracy theories had preached for years would come.
As Trump boarded Air Force One for his last presidential flight to Florida, many QAnon adherents - some of whom had earlier this month stormed the Capitol in a siege that left at least two QAnon devotees dead and others in jail - began to wonder whether they'd been duped all along.

I ran into a group of Qtards at a Trump rally last year. I love ‘em to death and I’d want them in a foxhole next to me ... but I swear those people are bat-sh!it crazy.

I’ve never understood exactly what Q was; except that it seemed darn juvenile.

Trump more or less made fun of it himself, when he said he liked that they supported him. Meaning he didn't see anything there besides that.

Yet there are still true believers posting here on Free Republic. I question why we are so tolerant of an enemy psyops campaign being waged on this site.
