Let me be clear: the president of the United States had every right to question the counting practices, lack of transparency and rules changes without legislative approval leading up to his defeat. Questioning government is a critical component of American culture and society. It's part of why a Republican form of government can work.
The problem today is that too many people ignore facts and history and regurgitate "talking points" from agenda-driven elites who control the "means of communication".
When the president of the United States is not "allowed" to inspire legal and peaceful protests, then we no longer live in a free country.
When tech billionaires are allowed to go unchecked deciding which speech is allowed and which isn't all the while enjoying the protection from liability from the federal government, then we no longer live in a free country.
When mobs of armed protestors with black shields and incendiary devices can walk unchecked through cities and neighborhoods forcing closures, destroying stores and homes, assaulting and, in some cases, killing people, driving police officers from their precinct buildings and stopping medical care from reaching people behind the rioters line, then we no longer live in a free country.
How did this happen? There are three reasons, in my opinion, that the president failed. At every turn, he had the opportunity to right the wrong, but didn't. President Trump could have solved and even prevented much of what we are now experiencing. Unfortunately, he did the opposite of what he should have done. His Oval Office speech about violence this week was the capstone on a lost war that leaves the rest of us to pick up the pieces and rebuild.

If we/re being honest, it’s a freaking miracle that he won in the first place. TPTB weren’t taking any chances this time around. The only people that were more chaffed about his victory than the democrats were the establishment republicans. This was a politic a assassination. Et tu Brute?
I agree. Rush Limbaugh always said that DJT greatest weakness is his desire to be loved. I think that made him hesitate to fire all the known traitors in his midsts. As funny as it will sound to the Left - maybe he was just too nice a guy to destroy his enemies.
You missed the most important ones:
1. Pick a team of advisors that were of like-mind and would be his wingmen. Get rid of the bad apples ASAP.
2. Clean out DOJ and install people who would be loyal to his cause
3. Greatly downsize the Department of State.
4. Prosecute violators immediately, and to the fullest.
If Trump takes action between now and inauguration, I will withdrawal these comments. He still hast time if certain elements of the military will follow.
Soros, Soros, Soros. Why has that bum not been deported? If he now has American citizenship, as a gift of the government it can be removed and he can be booted out. Britain kicked him out...why can’t America?
I don’t think POTUS failed - he just didn’t get re-elected because he got taken out by an in your face coup.
But I do agree with reasons 1 and 3. As for failing to seek justice for Hillary et al - everyone was led to believe this was in the works and furthermore I believe McConnell hog tied POTUS. Trump couldn’t even do recess appointments. We can blame the GOPe for this one.
I’m almost ready to agree with Patrick Byrne who was surprised at how nice POTUS is - maybe he just wanted to fix things for WTP and hated needing to be the hard ass.
The lousy appointments were a direct result of a lousy Senate Majority Leader and Senate Republicans.
Reason #2: Trump should have actively sought justice for the lies about collusion and the campaign spying done under the previous administration.
Reason #3: Trump should have aggressively shut down the violence from Antifa/BLM with the military."
1) Should have fired Fauci and given him a hero's retirement, Medal of Freedom, Bruce singing to him personally. But fired him and replaced him with Brix. Easy pawn move to Queen.
2) Keep in mind the Stroke/Page comms were unmasked and not even the conservative media called for their prosecution. It's not possible to promote the economic vigor of the Greatest Country and take care of what Trump considered small ball. Anything Trump beats immediately becomes small ball to him and why the fuck not? He is a believer in transactionary relationships. Read the damn book. What he needed was a MASSIVE army of entrenched henchmen at every level of judiciary, alphabets, government, agencies. This is the lesson learned.
3) Not necessarily but show trials were needed. His Fed snatch-and-grab vanning operation in PDX was too little too late. Simply should have operated that in Minneapolis on the first night, taken the scum of that crop, and show-trialed them, created a domestic tribunal that is the equivalent of the United States Alien Terrorist Removal Court (a special Court composed of 5 Article III judge, but a Court whose power has never been exercised).
PRESIDENT TRUMP HAD A SUCCESSFUL PRESIDENCY.
He also had to fight those in DC every step of the way, republican and democrats.
They lied about Russian collusive for four years and blamed him for a virus introduced by China.
He was the greatest president in my lifetime ,mans I’m 76 !!
1) Should have fired Birx and Fauci and ended the corona scam.
2) Should have demanded prosecutions of the FBI/CIA coup spygate leaders.
3) Should have used the military aggressively against the 5 months of riots leading up to the election.
Correct on all.
It didn’t fail, it was murdered, three perps: Democrats, RINOs, and the MSM...
Trump was asked about that and his response was something like it would be a huge bomb going off to do that.
He trusted them as most of us did at the beginning, then we got to know who they were. By that time it was hard to get rid of them.
If you remember last year there were about three months when Fauci and Birx were not at any of the pressers and Trump brought in another doctor and he did a good job. His appointment was over in about 120 days.
Trump has NOT been happy with the WHO, the CDC or the above mentioned culprits.
It did not fail! Neither did massive election, voter and ballot fraud!!! M-fer!!
I couldn’t have said it better...
...close though!
It “failed” because Hillary lost. Period.
.
That’s the point isn’t it? Trump didn’t do it. The buck stops with POTUS.
Trump’s greatest failure was Jarvanka.
My only criticisms of PDJT’s presidency are centered around how he never had a functioning FBI or a worthy AG to take the bold courageous action vital to draining the Deep State swamp!!
We never saw a perp walk, handcuffs, orange jumpsuits, etc.
Moreover, all those who sought to destroy him from day one will now never pay the price—and instead be welcomed back by Biteme.
No justice was ever served!!!
It was sentenced to death by every politician, Democrat and Republican, who hated the man because he was successful, wasn't a chickenhawk, globalist, and couldn't be bought.
Reason #1: Instead of following Fauci, Birx and Redfield, Trump should’ve fired them.
-——And, he would have been impeached for political revenge.
Reason #2: Trump should have actively sought justice for the lies about collusion and the campaign spying done under the previous administration.
-——And, he would have been impeached for political revenge.
Reason #3: Trump should have aggressively shut down the violence from Antifa/BLM with the military.
-——And, he would have been impeached for political revenge.
Reason #1 only makes sense in retrospect. Trump was going to get blamed for every single COVID death no matter what he did, so from a political standpoint he had to be seen as "doing something." The author seems to mistakenly believe that most people were pissed off at all the lockdowns and dictatorial edits coming from the government when they voted last November. I don't even think most Americans are sick of this sh!t TODAY.
Reason #2 is the only one that makes sense, in my opinion.
Reason #3 is a joke. The President of the United States had no authority to use the military to deal with riots when the mayors and governors of the riot zones were adamantly opposed to Federal help.
