Beyond Haskins, I can’t think of any OSU QB working out in NFL this century. I could be an effective QB on their dominate teams.
Haskins is Urban Meyer’s legacy that keeps on being an embarrassment despite possessing a golden arm. Fields is a much more complete athlete and by all reports has a better work ethic. Yet the knock on Fields is his inability to quickly and correctly read defenses. That does not translate well into NFL success.
Very true regarding Ohio State QBs. At so many other positions, though, there seem to be a good number of players throughout the NFL that have done well that came from Ohio State.
