About the only time I ever wished I’d went into the NAVY instead of the ARMY was chow time.

My Dad used to joke: "GI beans and GI gravy, gee I wished I'd joined the Navy..." Of course, he was Air Force so... ;-)

Fond memories of Christmas dinners at NAS Boca Chica 70+ years ago! Needless to say, I was a Navy Brat (almost born in the Canal Zone but, in Key West instead)!
