I think it could have been a “Yes, I am still I am” message- After all, it was He who aligned the stars and planets the way they are- he could have aligned them so they never lines up, but He chose to align them so every 800 years thereafter it could be seen as a reminder perhaps-

Oh yeah an d no, that isn’t all you said, stop lying. you said it couldnt be what the wisemen saw because this event only happens once every 800 years. That is what I was responding to. Whether it is a star or planet is irrelevant, it could very well have been what guided the wisemen, to say it is impossible because it doesn’t like e up with the years is to limit an omnipotent God.
Because the dates don’t line up i mean. God isn’t bound by science or the li its He imposed on the natural world. He can and has superceded natural law all the time.
