Just under $4 Trillion from tax payers is funneled through DC. Money corrupts. How best to stop the funnel?
Exactly how? No idea. I think the answer lies in states taking back their power. It would mean a return to the Constitution as it was conceived—a small federal government that handled diplomacy, common defense and disputes between states, but where the states and the people retained all other power. The Constitution never envisioned the leviathan on the Potomac. With states doing the rest and not sending 4 trillion to DC, government would be closer to the people and therefore more accountable.
