The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of an 80-year-old man and his 77-year-old wife in Sabillasville, authorities announced Friday. First responders were dispatched at about 2 p.m. Friday to the 17000 block of Harbaugh Valley Road for a report of two people in cardiac arrest, according to FCSO spokesman Todd Wivell.
The deceased were identified as William Lawrence Moore and Judith Louise Moore, Wivell said. Their bodies were transported to the office of the chief medical examiner for autopsies to determine the cause of death, and the next of kin had been notified. There were no signs of a criminal act occurring, according to Wivell. A family member found the Moores and called 911.
Sneaky covid?
RIP
Maybe they couldn’t stand to live in a communist world.
Since both were unattended deaths, I hope both are autopsied.
Any kids stand to inherit, do they have a large estate?
ff
Overdoses intentional. Need blood tests.
One of the issues with Covid is heart damage
Happens fairly often. One triggers the other. Sad, but true.
Maryland is the state........
My first thought was carbon monoxide.... definitely strange in my opinion if the police don’t think it is criminal in any way or form.
Drug-induced suicide?
Carbon Monoxide? Blocked flue, gas hot water heater?
Or just circumstance for old people?
Nah. They’ll just list it as covid and collect the funds
It is not at all unusual for long married couples to die within moments of each other. Its not common but it happens.
Why is this news?
BFD
Your scenario sounds like the most plausible theory. 8>)
One died of cardiac arrest and the other died after watching it. I do Not see why this is a big story. Remember Debbie Reynolds? She died a few days after her daughter, Carrie Fischer. She died of a broken heart. However iI viewed it as her last upstaging of her daughter. (Anyone who read or saw POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE knows what I am talking about.
It’s not national news, dumbass. It was listed as chat and local news. You didn’t have to click on it.
“Appears as though the husband and wife had heart attacks at the same time. Perhaps one started one and the other, upon seeing what was going on, had one also?”
Entirely possible. Two elderly people, probably together for decades, and probably with underlying cardiac problems; one goes into arrest and sends the other into panic or shock, and two weak hearts do the rest. May they rest in peace, and together.
