Do you have children? Would you be happy if your children got it?

If my children got it we’d never know. It is 99.99% symptom free for the very young and young adults.

If I could post a spreadsheet, I’d have made this a post today, but I can’t, so I’ll settle for tagging along on this thread. The following numbers are calculated from CDC data, posted on their site. I sent this verbiage to several friends, along with an Excel spreadsheet with some calculations:

OK - Governors in some states are saying we need to close schools to protect the kids. But that’s an argument based on emotion.

Data says that of all cases resulting in death, 0.04% (0.0004) were under 14 years of age. That’s 83 deaths.

Too many, but here’s another quote from the CDC:
“In 2018, 636 children 12 years old and younger died in motor vehicle traffic crashes, and more than 97,000 were injured”

So - If we can’t send the kids to school because of COVID, we certainly need to keep them out of the car.

The chart below is very interesting. Note that 91.84% of all deaths from COVID are folks over 54 years old.

The folks in charge need to help us not scare our children and young parents to death. But I guess you don’t get as many votes that way, do you?

“Also was he given HCQ early on?”

In what I could find, I have no idea what happened but what we’re being told. There is a strong possibility of beginning heart disease prior to getting C-19. But as long as they are going to use it as a public case to prove something, we will never know all the information. A heart problem can be anything from blockage to an irregular heart beat, and can happen at any age. But if he had something like that, he falls into the risk category that most 19 year olds don’t.

The libs can’t afford it to tell it all. I feel their effort here is to justify another shutdown by using improper identification on a 19 year old they tried to say was healthy because his mom said so. If he was an athlete, actively working as a wrestler, and healthy with his physical situation, then I’m Napoleon Bonaparte. I’ve had two stints and an ablation. And I was an athlete for over 50 years so I’ve got a little knowledge on this.
