Yes, we need national election standard--federal law. Offer states money to help with elections on condition they implement common practices:

• Photo ID, government paid for those very few people that don't already have one or claim they cannot afford one.
• Signature match
• National reconcilation database to ensure person is registered in only one location
• Absentee ballon only on request, not universal send
• Make election day a national holiday, open polls for 24 hours
• No early voting
• No late voting, except absentee, which must be received by poll closing time
• Felony for illegal voting
• No ballot harvesting
• No electronic voting; use paper
• Candidates and their parties can have sufficient observers (e.g., with each election worker) and sufficiently close (e.g., 6 feet or closer) to meaningfully observe election
