Does gravity hold those little rocks in place? It’s only 500 meters big and is rotating but the little rocks are staying put. Seems like they’d be slung off.
Microgravity. Unless the thing starts spinning and flings them off, they will tend to stay put.
Or if something with sufficient mass comes by and pulls them away with IT’S gravity.
