Greets from Japan . MY HP Touchsmart all-in-one ( 11 years old and my downstairs PC ...6 year old Dell upstairs ) is slowly dying and I am looking at new all-in-ones . The HP gave me many problems over the years - even when it was new - so I am not considering an HP this time around . Dell's technical support so-so and they cost a few hundred dollars more than Lenovo here in sushiland . I would rather not give the business to a Chinese company but the prices are reasonable and NEC in Japan handles technical/ phone support . Dell's is China . I'd be interested in hearing Lenovo owners' experiences as I trust my fellow Freepers advice and opinions more than what I can find on the internet ( reviews , etc...) . Cheers ...
Had one,, not sure of model,, returned same day,, slow, poor video,,,,,,,,,Give a iMac a try,, wont be sorry,,, nice used ones on ebay
Typing on a late 2011 Imac, 3.1 upgraded memory and SD hard drive,, FAST!
Yes, I use it at home and also in the office. Very reliable, never had a problem.
Made in China...nuff said???
Lenovo don’t even make good boat anchors.
Dont buy off shelf...have one built.
More $$, but worth it to get what you want/need. Will last longer
There's your answer...
Lenovo is a Chinese company.I avoid buying Chinese made goods...or goods from Chinese companies (e.g.,Lenovo,Volvo,Pirelli)...whenever possible.
Mine was OK. Never had any problems. I have found HP a little betted.

I just bought an extended warranty on the HP laptop I am typing this on due to an irresistible promotion. If I don’t use the extended warranty to fix my computer, HP has promised to refund my extended warranty purchase price in November 2022.
I used to use a Lenovo laptop for work, and it was mostly OK (some battery and power-adapter problems). But I wouldn’t personally buy a Chinese laptop. I hate the government of China for trying to kill us with their germ-warfare virus.
I have a Lenovo thinkpad. I liked my Toshiba better.
A PC made in Japan,Taiwan,South Korea,Europe or the US is OK...China? No thanks!
No, never.
I had a Lenovo Yoga, it was supposed to replace both a laptop and a tablet. It was the crappiest crap that was ever crapped. I have no idea whatever happened to it. I think we finally threw it away.
“Made in China...nuff said???”
What major PC maker’s computers AREN’T made in China ? Lenovo IS a Chinese company , hence my hesitation to buy one . However , if they are reliable and hold up over time , why not ?
Brought a Lenovo Ideapad 320. The screen started breaking apart two months after I had it.
Constant problems with it-
DO NOT BUY A LENOVO!
“China will stand atop the world’s stage. As you can now see, our dream is being realized step-by-step.”
If one takes part of that sentence, and then think about the recent purposeful spread of COVID-19 to the rest of the world, it makes sense.
Build your own. Easy today.
Have owned three, a laptop, tablet and small HTPC and they were all crap. Don’t care how cheap it is don’t buy it.
“A PC made in Japan,Taiwan,South Korea,Europe or the US is OK”
Only 2 tiny makers in Japan and they are twice as expensive and have so-so reviews . Asus and Acer are made in China with Chinese techincal support .
