That mask doesn’t do anything. The whole purpose for it is to give you a warm fuzzy and make you feel like you’re doing your part. Unfortunately, it also instills a sense of arrogance in a lot of people and emboldens them to attack anybody who disagrees. Medical doctors, including the Surgeon General, were telling people as late as April that masks are ineffective outside of a medical facility. They did a 180 as soon as they were overruled by politicians, got a trip to the woodshed, and threatened with firing, losing medical licenses, and being blackballed from their profession. That’s how science is supposed to work? What a great situation to be in: commit malpractice or face the Spanish inquisition. My neighbor spent 25 years in the Air Force as a flight surgeon, he thinks the mask requirement is a total crock. It’s sad that politicians are doing this to the medical community.
