Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says he will help purchase one-way plane tickets for any celebrity who wishes to leave the country if President Donald Trump is reelected.
"Celebrities threatening to leave the United States if the president is re-elected. This happened in 2016 and it is believed not one celebrity left then and it appears the same threats are being made this election year," Jones wrote on Facebook.
"I hope you do leave and if there's any way I can help -- I'm not a rich person -- but I would be willing to throw in $10 to a special fund to help get you a flight or whatever it takes," Jones said in a video which now has 125,000 views.
"I'll even help them pack," Jones wrote.
In the video, the sheriff explained how he believes the United States is the greatest country in the world, "regardless of who the president is."
"I will help fund that trip. You just can't come back," Jones said.

I think we should Crowdsource a relocation fund to encourage them to leave. I know they have more $$ than us but we should help them any way we can...
Let’s start a company “Go Move Me.” The contributions would quickly hit millions of dollars. We’d keep the money in an escrow account to be tapped to pay the relocation expenses for any celebrity or newsperson who wants to leave. They’d get steerage on a tramp steamer and can take one trunk with them. We won’t pay for their entourage.
Good idea, but six months after the election, shut down until the next one and distribute the leftover money (I suspect all) to charity.
As for the steerage thingy, I would say send them first class accommodation to expose their hypocrisy to the fullest. They might get some believers if they said the only reason they didn't go was because of the steerage passage.
Oh yeah, they'd have to pay ten times the original fare if they come back within a year. Make the time short so they can't whine about being forced to be an outcast.
We need a master list of those who “threatened” to leave, so we can harass them when they fail to do so!
Don’t need to give these so-called celebrities any money. They’re all filthy - and I emphasize the word ‘filthy’ - rich already. They won’t leave because they’d rather stay here and bitch and moan and complain. Too bad. I’d like anybody who doesn’t like our country to leave and never come back.
