Chelsea Clinton says President Trump just can't get her mother out of his head.
"He's obsessed with her!" the 40-year-old author and daughter of 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton exclaimed in a Monday interview on the daytime talk show "The Real."
"I mean, he talks about her all the time," Clinton said.
"He talks about her in interviews. He talks about her in rallies. He tweets about her," she continued in response to a question from co-host Garcelle Beauvais about remarks Trump made earlier this month in a Fox Business interview about his former political opponent's use of a private email server when she was secretary of State.
"I think it’s really clear that he has never gotten over the fact that she won the popular vote by more than 3 million votes," Clinton added on Monday.
"I think that he’s also really threatened by strong, powerful women," she said, adding that Trump "felt quite threatened" by Sen. Kamala Harris's (D-Calif.) "extraordinary" performance in the vice presidential debate against Vice President Pence earlier this month.
"So, I’m not surprised," Clinton told the show's co-hosts.
