It had that 70s low brow feel to it. Clearly followed the success of American Graffiti to the small screen. One could watch a show or two and Fonzie became the cool star of it but the shtick wore thin fairly quickly. It was part of the nostalgia boom of the mid 70s. Feeding into that was seeing Opie grown up. In some ways it reminded me of watching Archie comics come to life. Watching it now to me would be pointless nostalgia on top of nostalgia.
Im old enough to remember when actors just acted.
:)
Well good old boy Andy Taylor isnt going to be shilling anymore!
LOSERS!
Not one of those people has ANY real ties to Wisconsin.
The entire Happy Days series was shot in Hollywood.
The only real Wisconsin tie they ever had was the late
Al Molinaro (Alfred), a native of Kenosha.
Usually, I can pick up on a fake.
Happy Days...an episode or two
Dallas...yes...guilty pleasure but I stopped before it ended so I missed the last few seasons.
Taxi...an episode or two
Seinfeld....yes again but I missed the last couple of seasons
Law and Order....yes sort of. Again in the middle of its run when it was most popular. Orbach was great as a wise cracking cop. Did not watch the spinoffs.
Bachelor and Survivor.....no....not a fan of most “reality” shows
They must be feeling really upbeat to bring in such big names at the last minute! /S
There was a lot of retro nostalgia navel gazing by the baby boomers in the late late 60s and early 70s after the violent Marxist radicalism of the 60s and 70s.
Sha-Na-Na

“I can clearly see Fonzie’s ‘nuts’!”
A show that is famous for "jumping the shark" supports a campaign that jumped the shark.
At least Chachi isn't having any part of it.
Such strange optics, given the “Happy Days” era, is what the left claims the right is trying to return to...
Thanks a fool in paradise. The whole lot of them probably bsiled out a lot of rioters and killers.
They are a pack of reprobates and filthy sodomites.
Will Chuck be there?
The NFL?
Give me a minute...
Wasn’t that a group of men who used to play a kids game? Oh yeah, football! I hadn’t realized they were still around. No big loss.
