I broke up with my boyfriend at a football game.

It was the fourth quarter and although he was also an Auburn freshman, he kept saying how, being down by 16 - 0 and 10 minutes left in the game, we would not win and deserved to lose, yada, yada, yada.

With less than 10 minutes left, an Auburn drive stalled and managed only a field goal, which made it 16–3. On the next possession, Alabama was forced to punt. Bill Newton blocked Greg Gantt’s punt and David Langner ran the ball back 25 yards for an Auburn touchdown, narrowing the score to 16–10. Several minutes later, Alabama was forced to punt again. Like last time, Newton blocked the punt and Langner returned it for a touchdown. Gardner Jett kicked the extra point to give Auburn a 17–16 lead.

My boyfriend continued with his screed. He said it was all a fluke and ... Thus, a break-up. It was necessary. I had to do it.

Although I say Roll Tide, he had to go. Nobody needs that much negativity in their lives. You learned a lesson early and probably dodged a beer bottle going through the window.
