I don't believe anyone advocates cutting corners on necessary checks.
I believe the aim is to eliminate unnecessary delay. Is that unreasonable?

how about skipping animal testing?Interesting link, thanks.
But I would think that animal testing would only make it safer for the people in clinical trials. Skipping it, I would think would have no effect on making the approved vaccine less safe for the general public.
