The US NAVY SEALs and the Navy Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) recently changed their ethos and creed statements to reflect a gender neutral presentation of the elite NAVY outfits, doing away with gendered terms like "brotherhood".

Just like at the Army Ranger school, I can’t wait to hear about some nearly 40 year old woman passing BUDS training and the Navy heralding her as the first Female SEAL. It helps to have orders from the Pentagon that the woman will pass the course.
