The police were serving a warrant, looking for Brionna's ex-boyfriend. Her current boyfriend opened fire on them, and they returned fire, killing Brionna.
I guess you could say that when it comes to boyfriends:

If like most people if she avoided hanging with criminals she would have not been in the position to be shot during a legal police operation. Wonder how many women have been killed by civilian rivals of their criminal boyfriends. BLM gives that no real thought. The whole thing is a joke.
