Lagoa has a very thin record and only about a year on the Federal bench. She has ties to the Bushes so I really think she’s much more likely a trojan horse than Barret who clerked for Scalia and has a much longer history of Conservative Originalist decisions.
We can only go on their rulings... if Barret is pro-lockdown upholding IL governors powers is that something to be concerned about?
