some police train officers to use the bikes as a defensive tool in crowd control. For one thing it keeps them away from the body. It can also be a pretty good weapon.

Why doesn’t the black community object to this violence against cops?

I read daily black protesters say that the rioters are not BLM nor represent the Black community.

Where I can respond, I always write back "So take control of the "peaceful protests" and weed the violent ones out!"

Their lack of response is, to me, tacit approval of the violent tactics.

I am suprised that a metal bat swung with that amount of force and hitting the back of the head didn’t at least knock the officer to the ground and leave him stunned or unconscious. Do they have flubber in those helmets?

Not as good as a 1,000 pound horse. A phalanx of horses strikes fear in anybody opposing the cops.

Plus, when the rioter takes your bike, you have to get it back from the rioter. Is there anything more silly looking than a cop trying to get his bicycle back from a thug?
