They’re both from California and the pesky Constitution says they need to be from different states. How will the Rats get around that?

OK, he’s speaking metaphorically.

The rats don’t care.

They pushed obama through and we had two terms with him.

They’ll just bully their way into it and ignore the Constitution like they always do.

Pelosi would not be VP. She has a better chance of being POTUS,at least for a time. With Biden gone Pelosi while next in line after Harris still remains Speaker. VP is replaced by the process of the 25th Amendment. No way Pelosi wins that.
However if the election is contested and the House and Senate refuse or are not able to certify the results by 1/20/21 then the Speaker becomes acting POTUS until results are certified.
Now here’s a weird part Root did not consider. The Speaker need not be a sitting member of the House. Can you say Pres Hillary Rodham Clinton.

That would only be an issue come 2024, at which time Pelosi would be 84. If she hasn't been carried out from Congress in a box by then, she may surely have retired to her estate & vineyards.

As I understand it, electors can't vote for candidates when they're both from the same state. So a Harris/Pelosi ticket would forfeit the 55 electoral votes (as of 2020) from California. A ticket with both candidates from a smaller state with fewer EVs could run and win an election if the margin of victory was big enough anyway, assuming they still hit the 270 number.

Since this theorized switcheroo would occur after the 2020 election, that section of the Constitution would not come into play until the next time around, i.e., 2024.

Kamala can tap dance till she drops-—

She still will be NOT ELIGIBLE to be either President or VP.
