Why? The police are fewer in number, under extreme scrutiny and threat of defunding.

Basically, taking any risk now for a cop involves their freedom and the future of their entire family. The only weapon I’d use in this situation as a cop is a phone and maybe a bullhorn, and then just wait for the situation to resolve itself.

Correct. Our feelings about his must correlate to the victim’s Social Privilege Factor.
Black boy? SPF of 1.
Hispanic boy? SPF of 4.
Asian boy? SPF of 7.
White boy? sPF of 10.
The higher the SPF, the less we must feel.
