Another California company is moving its headquarters from California to Nashville, but this time it’s not a tech company.

Deadline reports that The Daily Wire — a conservative media company started by Ben Shapiro, Jeremy Boreing and Caleb Robinson — is moving its headquarters from Los Angeles later this year.

Boreing told Deadline that the company’s 75 L.A. employees are being given until Oct. 1 to decide whether to make the move.

Deadline writes:

[Boreing] said that they considered moving to Texas, but chose Nashville because it “offers the creative talent we need to keep growing the business.”

“We were shocked by the reception when we announced the move,” Boreing said. “But, of course, our employees see all of the same challenges we see and it’s even harder for them to afford this place.”

It was not immediately clear where the company's headquarters will be located within Nashville.

The company’s holdings include DailyWire.com and “The Ben Shapiro Show” podcast. Shapiro is the company's editor emeritus, while Boreing and Robinson are co-CEOs.

Deadline writes:

interesting move. Leaving CA before 100% of it is on fire? Nashville is nice, though they will have to adjust to the even worse traffic (that’s a joke).

Nashville is a democrat city. They should have moved to Knoxville.

Generally speaking ‘moving to Nashville’ doesn’t mean they’re moving to Davidson County. All the counties surrounding Davidson are red.

I suspect they’ll end up in either Williamson County or Rutherford County.

My only question: What will become of Andrew Klaven (check spelling)?

I am surprised they were located in LA. Surprising the ANTIFA BLM terrorists haven’t destroyed their offices.

Discovery Communications announced Tuesday it will move its National Operations Headquarters to Knoxville once it finalizes its $14.6 billion purchase of Scripps Networks Interactive.

The company made the announcement Tuesday as part of a major shake-up of its real estate strategy. The company said the current Scripps Knoxville campus will soon house the company’s newly established National Operations Headquarters alongside the major Scripps brands, digital teams and corporate functions currently working there.

Discovery said the compelling environment and infrastructure of Knoxville, along with the city’s low cost of living and amenities were part of the reason it chose to move into the Scripps Knoxville campus.

I just finished Michael Knowles’ and Andrew Klavan’s show, and am Now listening to Matt Walsh on my regular nightly booze walk around the Tokyo suburbs. Ben Shapiro is the only host I don’t regularly listen to. The others are fantastic. I respect Ben, but his show is so damned difficult to enjoy.
