A friend of mine tells a story that as a young man he had terrible athelete's foot fungus. He had a daysailer that he would take out on the Hudson and one afternoon a thunderstorm capsized it in a gust. He spent a half hour holding on to the boat while standing in the river bottom muck. Cured!
