“Veg is not required for human health. “ — really? I knew about cereals being converted to glucose, but thought that that was still necessary.

“I’ve been living 784 days now without plants, sugar & carbs. Not had so much as a headache since July 2018. EVERY aspect of my life has been immensely improved since I began living this way July 16, 2018.”
—> Interesting, thank you for this, I will look up your youtube video

I think it was in his book “On Walden's Pond” where he is walking along and stops to chat with some neighbor. Thoreau at the time was not eating meat, and somehow that got brought up in the conversation.

Thoreau commented something like “And while the farmer spoke with conviction that a person needed meat in order to live and work, his team of cows crazed at the grass until they were ready to continue their travels.”

As I'm writing this - it just came to my mind that cows and humans are very different with no doubt different nutritional requirements. But still, I got a chuckle out of it. (BTW - I eat meat.)

Early humans consumed all the meat they could, crossed continents in search of fat. Sure they ate some plants when they were available but meat/fat was the powerhouse that kept us alive. Native Americans would months on strictly a meat diet. North West Indians consumed fish and shell food. Here in West Texas deer and rabbits were the staple.

I’ve had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn’t functioning properly

Well she may be right about one thing.

No wonder she cried usually the animal larger brain eats the animal with the smaller brain. The tears were from the conflict of her eating a species with a higher intellect than hers. A really stupid fish would still rise to the top in that competition.

God had his plan. You don't seem to agree with him.

And your brain has been "off" for a long time. Your daddy did a nice job raising you and you should be ashamed of what you have chosen to be....a third rate ______.

I'm 76....Young or old....you need that protein. Eggs, milk, cheese, beef, chicken, fish.........and bacon. Vegetables and salads as side dishes are a must.

All the rest is sugar and carbs.

I cry every time I eat a steak, because with each passing bite, there’s less steak on my plate.

Cried for the fish!! Good, freaking grief, give me a break. These danged liberals are driving my poor mind crazy. Can these people be that stinking silly?? That stupid?? That big of idiots?? Never mind, I just answered my own questions. Yes, they are. Stupid as a box of rocks. Silly as a nut case person that is as BRAIN DEAD as Little Joey Biden, IF he can remember his name today. Stupid, silly, crazy, idiots, moruns, fools, liars, cheats, thiefs, murders (abortion), that covers most of those I have seen and met. NO, I don’t have liberal friends. I don’t have time for their stupid crap.

What type of meats do you eat and how are they raised?

How do you get vitamin C? A diet of dried meat, fish and biscuits for long periods without fresh plants is how sailors would end up with scurvy. Meat and milk doesn’t contain very much C except in a few arctic animals

Humans eat animals and plants. Denying human nature is the sign of a liberal.

This is a “typical” ending for vegans ... the first year is pretty good, then they’ll make it about 5 years or so with health declining & then the malnutrition catches up with them. Eating a piece of salmon is often the first non-vegan thing they’ll eat after years of depriving their bodies/brains & the feeling of relief from the body is immediate. A very few people, with careful supplementation, do ok as vegans (one doctor commented she had maybe 2-3 “successful”, long term vegans out of 900 patients.) An OB commented that an OB’s worst nightmare is a pregnant vegan. Aside from being malnourished in general, they are not eating foods that contain the essentials for good brain development in their babies.

Unfortunately, vegans in general (not all) tend to be very “militant” ... no room for discussion about food/health, etc. - it’s their way or you are wrong/a bad person. Well-known vegans who go back to eating fish/meat are vilified, harassed, & the subject of hateful comments.
