Not a doctor, but a heart/ bypass patient. Also had pleurisy years ago and I imagine some loose similarity in the infection . . . just guessing.

From my untrained knowledge, myocarditis would be some type of infection/ inflammation of heart tissue. Is that treatable from some type antibiotic? How stubborn would such an infection be?

it is inflammation not infection. I imagine the vast majority is asymptomatic and goes away with doing nothing. If it would be severe enough to decrease the hearts pumping ability there would me medication to treat the heart failure. some forms of damage would improve others might cause permanent damage . I doubt this is a common thing or we would be seeing more of it at this point
