John Boyega has slammed Disney for 'sidelining' his Star Wars character and giving 'all the nuance' to his white co-stars Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley.
The actor, 28, portrayed the franchise's first black Stormtrooper, in The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker and told how he thinks Disney marketed his character as being 'much more important' than he actually was.
Speaking in an interview with the October issue of British GQ magazine, he said: 'You get yourself involved in projects and you're not necessarily going to like everything.

How about creating black characters under new movie plot-lines rather than butcher the existing movie history? Hollywood did the same thing with gender replacements, and for the most part that has not fared well either.
The first one to mention race is the racist.

I don’t recall where his character’s race was brought up at all.
His role could have been played by anyone.
Why does his skin color have anything to do with anything?
He was a really poor casting choice in the first place- he’s not a good actor and his stage presence is not charismatic.

Please I had to sit through a complete 20 or 30 minute sub plot with you and that Asian woman.. that was utterly pointless and only there to offer some PC crap that had nothing to do with the overall story.
You hardly were pushed aside, if anything you got more screen time than you should have for what they had you doing.
Worse than that. Rumpos are swirling that katheleen kennedy will be shown the door and that THE LAST 3 EPISODES OF SW NEVER HAPPENED (someon’s dream or alt universe).
The reins will be handed back to Lucas who will rewrite canon correctly. This has already happened with the Kelvin timeline in ST which has been terminated and declared not canonical.
So his character never existed.
In the movie WARGAMES the computer finally figured there were no winners and the only way to win was not to play.
Fast forward a few decades and it is lesson all businesses should take to heart. In the GAME OF WOKE there is no way to win so it is best not to even try.

The 3 Star Wars sequels succeeded in making the 3 Star Wars prequels no longer the worst of the Star Wars trilogies.
